New Year’s Revolution: Start something now, shut up about it, and get better at anything

So there will be a new, exciting Live Hard post tomorrow, but since it’s the season for habit change, I thought it might be a good idea to direct you to some posts you might not have seen on the subject. Handily, they form an actual template for improving in almost any area you want: almost like I planned it that way. Bonus: there’s one about drinking at the end, boozehounds.

Decide How Much You Care

The starting point for anything. Whether you don’t think you have time to improve or you’re frustrated at not having a six-pack yet, decide how much you care and you’ll clarify your position instantly.

Start It Now, Fix It Later

The most popular Live Hard post of all time, in which I suggest that you should stop worrying about being perfect and get on with whatever it is that you’re going to do. The Governator and Mozart agree with me.

Know When To Shut Up

Decided on your plans? Great: tell some people about them, then shut up. This post explains why.

Drink Hard

You’re going to do it tonight anyway, so make sure you do it right.
